Hello, this is Baha Korean Medicine Clinic.

In a time when children face heavy study loads and significant stress, most parents have wondered at some point how to help their child maintain good condition.

Today we would like to introduce a traditional Korean herbal prescription that has long been used to support concentration and memory — Chongmyeong Gongjindan.

※ The following information is general in nature. The degree of benefit may vary depending on each child's constitution and health condition. Before use, we strongly recommend consulting with a licensed Korean medicine doctor to determine whether this prescription is appropriate for your child.

Key Herbal Ingredients in Chongmyeong Gongjindan

Wolfberry root bark (Yuanzhi) & Sweet flag rhizome (Seokchangpo)

Long regarded as the representative herbs of the traditional Chongmyeong-tang formula, these two ingredients have been used in Korean medicine for generations as herbs believed to calm the mind and support concentration.

Poria (Boknyeong)

Poria is known as an herb that helps ease the mind, and is frequently included in formulas used during periods of heightened stress from exams or intensive study.

Deer antler velvet (Nokyong)

The core ingredient of the Gongjindan formula, deer antler velvet is a well-known tonifying herb that has traditionally been used to help restore vitality and physical energy.

Gastrodia rhizome (Cheonma), Danshen root, Ophiopogon root (Maengmundong) & Longan fruit (Yonganyuk)

These herbs have traditionally been combined in Korean medicine formulas in relation to cognitive activity, and some research into their components is gradually being conducted. Please note, however, that individual results may vary, and no definitive outcome is guaranteed.

This formula may be worth considering when:

• Your child has difficulty sustaining focus and tires easily due to a heavy study load

• You are concerned about declining energy during seasonal changes or exam periods
